We tested the OPPO F7 Youth to see if its cameras are good
In our full review, we discovered that the OPPO F7 is one of the best phones photo the category of mediums. In fact, it's actually one of its main features, aside from the notch and its processing capabilities.
But a few months after its release, the company released a follow-up – the OPPO F7 Youth. As expected, this device has a compromised hardware to accommodate the cheaper price tag.
The standard OPPO F7 had a ridiculous 25-megapixel front camera and a single 16-megapixel shooter at the rear. But with the F7 Youth, we only have front and rear cameras of 8 megapixels and 13 megapixels, respectively
Considering the impressive performance OPPO F7 cameras, we are curious to see how young F7 play in this regard. Does the quality of the photo really stand out from each other? Do consumers really have to spend more money for the F7 to take better pictures?
Here is our OPPO F7 Youth camera test to see how it actually works in the imaging department. Let's start!
First, let's talk about the 13 megapixel primary camera at the back. This thing has an opening of f / 2.2 – which is certainly not the best we have seen on any smartphone camera. By looking at the low light images below, you can really see the effects of having a narrow aperture.
Images shot in low light scenarios cause a lot of noise and dull color. It can still have tastes when you post it on social networks, but the grains are really visible and the sharpness takes a hit.
