As you probably know, the Galaxy Note 9 is almost like Note 8 from last year, but it's a completely new phone. And we see something similar for the Pixel 3. Basically, both phones look like last year's versions, but they will be better in every respect. You can expect better battery life, the latest software, improved cameras, larger screens, and more.

There are many excellent Android smartphones available right now. If you can not wait, choose from devices like the OnePlus 6, Galaxy S9 + or LG G7 ThinQ. However, they are not your only options this year. High-end phones from several manufacturers are still arriving in October and November.

Trying to decide which to buy is a difficult task. That said, our information should help you decide if the Pixel 3 XL is even worth the wait. There will be a big screen, but this screen has a huge screen. At the same time, the Galaxy Note 9 offers an even bigger screen and the S-Pen, making the choice easy for some. Do you want a big screen or do you need the S-Pen? Do you prefer the Android stock? We will cover this and more in the slideshow below.

Both phones have advantages and disadvantages, including the high price of Note 9, and that boils down to what each user needs the most. For now, here is everything you need to know about these two phones. Do not forget that the Pixel 3 XL is not yet official and that some of this information could change. We will know for sure on October 9th.

Galaxy Note 9 vs Pixel 3 XL: Display

Galaxy Note 9 vs Pixel 3 XL: Display

First of all, most potential buyers will consider the screen size first. Then enter in other aspects, such as the life of the camera or the battery.

These days, almost everyone is waiting for a big screen, and these two phones offer exactly that. The Galaxy Note 9 and the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL both have excellent screens. The question is what size do you want or need.

Google publishes two phones, but you are probably interested in the larger Pixel 3 XL as a competitor of Note 9.

The Google Pixel 3 XL will probably come with a larger 6.3-inch Quad-HD display. Some rumors say that will happen at 6.41 inches. It will be flat, not curved and will have a notch at the top for the front camera. This large screen will cover almost the entire front of the phone. Similar to the design of the iPhone Xs. There is a slight chance that Google's device is unframed, but all the leaks indicate the opposite.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is 6.4 inches, so roughly the same size. It will also have curved edges and will probably be the best of both screens. Nobody can improve Samsung's AMOLED display technology.

These sound like huge devices, but they will not be. With smaller frames, phones have large screens while being easy to hold and use. If you still have an original Pixel XL or a Galaxy Note 5, it will be a great update. Do not worry though, the phone is not physically bigger, the glasses just narrowed.

What is the size of a screen you need or want? If the Galaxy S9 is too small and the Note 9 is too big, consider the Pixel 3 XL. However, there is a "deep" screen in the screen that is worse than the iPhone X.
